When we revisit this world, it would seem as though Simba has been losing heart, and doubting his abilities as king. Turns out Scar's ghost has been hanging around, and scaring him, and just about everyone else. Go chat with Simba in the King's Den, then with Rafiki down in his little cave.
Then go bust up the Hyenas in the graveyard. They run from you so you have to chase them down and pound the. Dashing helps you catch up and head them off. Have fun with it. But when you're finished, Scar's ghost appears and scares Simba off. Head back to Pride Rock and speak with Nala and Rafiki. Head to the Oasis to find Simba and give him a pep talk.
When it's time to finally deal with the boss, it might look a little intimidating because the creature is several stories high. But just like most of the fights in this game, it's all about using the TRIANGLE BUTTON when prompted to do so, and more so than ever here. The beginning of the fight show Sora running from the monster, and you have to hit that TRIANGLE BUTTON to avoid his heavy paws. When you knock him down, go and attack his eyes. When he's upright, jump on his legs and make your way to his back. There's a rider up there you have to deal with. This is where you unleash every powerful attack you have in your arsenal, including limit attacks. The two of them together aren't hard. Just try to stay aggressive.
