Damn! It appears that Jafar is somehow out and about, and the team needs to find a way to stop him quickly. Leave Peddler's Shop and head for the Oasis that's just beyond the Palace Walls. You're headed for the ruins in the distance. According to Iago, that's where you will find Jafar.
When you arrive, you realize it's time to ride the magic carpet. Follow the instructions and chase Jafar's lame shadow around. When you finish that, you'll have to face-off against some menacing heartless. Next you'll have to fly around triggering switches using magic: the first being thunder, the next blizzard, and the last fire. This will open a door to the monument and you have to hurry up and get your as in there. But once you get in there, Jafar is not even in there. Iago was full of S*** and now you have to escape before you are killed. Race out of there on the carpet as everything collapses. The controls are simple. Head back into town and chat with the peddler. But don't waste much time, you've bigger fish to fry.
Jafar is all big and grown up as you can see. Just fly toward his stomach and start wailing away. He'll get dizzy from the punishment which allows you to pull off a special attack using the TRIANGLE BUTTON. He'll throw a lot of crap you, from fireballs to buildings. All you have to do is dodge them. It's a simple and straight forward fight that won't take much time.
